Stay on top of changes without checking manually
Many product pages do not offer their own price alerts. MonitorCat lets you select the displayed price yourself, choose a check schedule and build a price history from successful checks.
How it works in MonitorCat
Add the product URL
Enter a publicly accessible product-page address and choose Price Change as the monitor type.
Select the displayed price
MonitorCat renders the page and suggests the price to track — accept its suggestion or click the exact price yourself. No CSS selectors required.
Choose a schedule
Select an interval allowed by your plan. MonitorCat compares each successfully observed price with the previous one.
Review alerts and history
Receive an email when the observed value changes, then inspect recent checks and the price graph in your dashboard.

Product pages can show old prices, instalment costs, member prices and recommendations. MonitorCat suggests the right price and lets you confirm the exact one to track with a click.

See the current observed price, overall movement and the low shown across recent observations.

Recent runs show observed values, outcomes and any screenshots captured for that check.
Scope and limitations
Checks run in a real browser, so JavaScript-heavy and bot-protected retailer pages generally load fine. The page does need to be publicly accessible and show a parseable price in the same place each time. Login-only prices, complex variant selectors and checkout-only pricing remain out of scope. If a selected price cannot be found during a check, MonitorCat records a not-found result rather than claiming that the price changed.
Common questions
Does MonitorCat buy the product automatically?
No. MonitorCat records observed prices and sends change alerts; purchasing remains with you on the retailer's website.
Will it work on every online shop?
Most public product pages work well, because MonitorCat loads them in a real browser and handles JavaScript and common bot protection. No monitor can promise every site, though, and login-only or heavily personalised pricing stays out of scope.
